The 5th edition of the ASSO DPO Annual Congress will be held in Milan on the 8th and 9th of May 2019.

The ASSO DPO Congress, now in its fifth edition, thanks to the success of the past years, has become a fundamental event for the agenda of a Data Protection Officer; reference point not only at a national level but also European.

The Congress was attended by important DPOs of multinationals and public subjects, members and leaders of the Data Protection Authorities of different States, experts and journalists on Data Protection and Cybersecurity and the main European DPO and Privacy associations met.

Among the key note speakers we had Giovanni Buttarelli (Data Protection Officer of the European Parliament) and Bruno Gencarelli (Head of the International Data Transfers and Protection Unit, European Commission).

In this two days, with a limited number of participants to keep up the level of attention and scientific production, we immersed in the most important issues concerning the figure of the DPO without forgetting the importance of being able to do networking, meeting privacy specialist colleagues.

On 8th and 9th May 2019 in Milan, Italy's economic capital, at one of the historic and most prestigious palaces, Palazzo Stelline, the members and supporters of ASSO DPO, an ever-growing association on the European scene, became the protagonists of a new profession increasingly sought after.
